Our GRP Enclosure is engineered to meet BS standards and the requirements of UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). Designed for reliability and protection, this IP54-rated enclosure is ideal for both floor-mounted and optional wall-mounted setups.
With a single door and three-point locking system, the cabinet provides secure storage for a wide range of electrical or industrial equipment. The cylinder lock includes a built-in ring to allow additional padlock security (padlock not included), and heavy-duty hinges offer resilience against tampering and weathering.
Crafted from high-quality GRP, this cabinet is suitable for utilities, local authorities, and industrial sectors requiring dependable, weather-resistant equipment housing. The enclosure is made with Class 2 fire-retardant resin, providing 30-minute fire resistance for added safety.

Installation:
This GRP enclosure is suitable for both floor and wall mounting. For floor installation, place the cabinet on a level concrete base and drill through the GRP floor using pre-marked or suitable points. Secure with concrete anchor bolts to ensure a stable, weatherproof installation.For wall mounting, remove the internal plywood backboard, drill fixing holes through the rear panel, and mount using appropriate heavy-duty wall fixings. Reattach the backboard once secured. Ensure the wall can support the full weight of the cabinet and its contents.
A minimum of two installers is recommended. Always follow appropriate health and safety procedures and use suitable fixings for the specific site conditions.
